Dunas Golf Course

The new links golf course by David McLay-Kidd will be inaugurated at the Terras da Comporta resort in southern Portugal, which is expected to become one of the best places in Europe to play golf. Dunas Golf Comporta will be one of the new 18-hole courses and will belong to the championship of the new luxury resort in the lands of Comporta. The Dunas Course will be joined by the Torre Course, a collaboration between Masters champions José Maria Olazabal and Sergio Garcia. Thus, Terras da Comporta is divided into two parts: Dunas and Torre. Dunas with about 1 hectare of land in the municipality of Grândola and Torre with 365 hectares of land already in the next parish, Alcácer do Sal, and will host the fields of Olazabal and Garcia. The dune field will feature villas, residential houses, or tourist accommodations. It will be the first international golf academy in Portugal.
